Open the Console:
Open file: renpy/common/00console.rpy (Not 00console.rpyc) with any texteditor. Press "crtl-f" and search for "False" three times and you find this entry "config.console = False". Change it to "config.console = True" and save the file. In game press "shift+o" to enter the console.
