Gameplay

Fetishes


Rack's gameplay revolves around bondage, sex toys, and fetishy science equipment. All of the fetishes that were found in Rack 1 will be present in Rack 2, along with several other commonly-requested fetishes, like heavier 6DSM (whips, canes, spanking), paw play, sounding, milking/feeding, and bulging.

In order to make sure nobody has unwanted fetishes shoved down their throat, all non-essential fetishes will be optional. Regardless of what fetishes do get added to the game, you will always be able to choose which fetishes (as well as character types/genders) you do and don't want to see in the game, and your progress will never be restricted because of a fetish or gender you've disabled.

Laboratory Customization

Rack 2 will allow you to design your laboratory as you see fit. Machines, bondage equipment, and research stations can be placed anywhere in the laboratory, and you'll be able to light, decorate, and configure certain areas of the lab separately for a variety of different testing environments. Exotic test environments such as low-gravity and underwater will return in Rack 2. Lab configurations can be saved, loaded, and shared.

In addition to testing rooms, where you'll perform most of your erotic experiments, you will also build up a state-of-the-art research and manufacturing facility, where you will unlock and produce toys, tools, chemicals, bondage equipment, accessories, and other scientific wonders. These goods can then be used in your experiments, or sold for profit.

Chemical Research


One of the core progression mechanics of Rack 2 is a new chemical research system. After you've collected specimen from your test subjects, you will be able to process it into six different chemicals. The type of chemical you earn is determined by how you're interacting with the subject. For instance, when a test subject is exposed to new and unfamiliar toys/fetishes, you will harvest a higher amount of felinium, or you can edge them over a very long session to earn a higher yield of equimine.

Using these chemicals, you will unlock chemical compounds that can be delivered to your test subjects via direct dosage or exposure to sex toys and accessories that have been treated with the chemical. These compounds allow you to control almost every aspect of a test subject's appearance and behavior, like their physical features, their sexual preferences and fetishes, their personality and emotional traits, and their body's sexual functions.

Compounds may initially come with side effects that you'll need to isolate and refine away. Once you've perfected a chemical, you'll be able to merge its effects with other chemicals to create custom drugs, which can then be used in the lab or sold for profit.

Custom Content / Modding


Like Rack 1, Rack 2 will allow you to load custom characters from anywhere, as long as they have been properly rigged and formatted to work with the game. Custom character artwork for Rack 2 can be created using Blender, which is completely free. I am doing all character modeling, rigging, and texture painting with Blender, and will release tutorials/explanations on the process once the game is closer to release. Character preferences and body type specifications can be edited using the game's built-in character customization tools or the text editor of your choice. Anyone supporting the game on Patreon at the $10 tier and up will also receive source files for characters I've created, which can be used as a starting point for new characters.

Character Customization
In addition to custom character support, Rack 2 also features a built-in character creation system that takes advantage of highly modular and highly flexible character elements. The game is built to handle a wide spectrum of character species, shapes, and sizes, and as the game is developed, the diversity of characters you'll encounter throughout the game will expand.

I want people to be able to create their own characters inside of the game, instead of commissioning me to make their character and add it to the game, like I did for Rack 1. I prefer spending my time working on new features and bugfixes, rather than making custom characters, and I know that's what my Patreon supporters would rather I spend my time on, too.

Rack 2 will allow you to customize:

Your character's sex organs, including support for animal-styled genitals and nonbinary sexes like hermaphrodites, andromorphic females ("dgirls"), and gynomorphic males ("cboys")
Your character's size, physique, and masculinity/femininity, independent of their gender / sex organs

About game

Oni's Rogue-Like is a sex trainer game based upon X-Men character Rogue. It takes place several years after the end of the TV show. You play as a young mutant with the ability to neutralize others abilities. This gives you the unique ability to explore options with Rogue she has never experienced before. In later builds Oni introduces Kitty as a character who he is still fleshing out the story for. It is his hope is to keep adding characters and developing the story further so that your character may interact with a cast of characters. He has pretty much confirmed the next character will be Emma Frost but has given not ETA on when she may first appear.

Ok, this is the updated build for version 0.974. It's not at 100% yet, so again I stress that this version is for people who want to test, and those who just want to play a smoothly performing game should wait a week or so until I give a final OK on a version. This version includes some diagnostic code to help you test out new features, so any time that time passes, a message will pop up telling you where each girl is, and where she is headed, and if you are at either location, it should say that she is either leaving or arriving, and play some more casual indication of that. If any of that stuff seems to not be working right, let me know and what it said.

Also, some people were reporting some dialog errors during sex scenes involving "line 1500" or so. I made some changes that might have fixed that, or if it didn't, it should at least have shifted the problem to instead proc a line of dialog like "tell Oni this. . ." let me know if you see one of those and what it said.

* I added a whole list of new generic chit-chat, resulting in more natural conversations.
* Xavier can now catch you and Kitty in the act. Be prepared.

* You should be able to reach Kitty's room through all the same methods as Rogue's, but only after meeting her. In the last build some options were still firewalled.

* Fixed an issue with characters cleaning cum off after agreeing to leave it on, let me know if this happens again, and how it plays out.
* I added a variable correction system. If you ever have an issue where it says "K_Date not found" or any other variable, try going to the player room, opening the Tutorial, and running "Statchecker." This should fix any missing variables, although I'm still not sure why variables occasionally slip through the cracks.
* I fixed a few issues related to characters changing in and out of Gym clothes in the Danger Room, but let me know if any other issues occur around that.
* I fixed a simple error with characters contradicting themselves over classroom seating.
* I fixed some scheduling conflicts surrounding Rogue's flirty Classroom scene, it should fit more naturally into the curriculum.
* Probably some other little things in there, but unless I broke something new, this version should be a lot smoother. If I did break something new, buckle up.

Known issues:
* doing sexy stuff with Kitty while Rogue is around can cause Kitty's jealousy action to play instead of Rogue's. This is very weird, but will be fixed next time.

Ok, so the main focus for this build is to try and clear up an error message involving Rogue feeling herself up during other types of sex. I added some diagnostic messages which will be kinda weird, but if they pop up, please post them verbatim, they'll help me narrow down where the error is occurring. I'll note I've tried to replicate this a bunch of times and can't get it to work on my end.

I also changed Rogue and Kitty's public sex reaction system a bit (the crowd stuff). The changes on your end should not be huge, although the stats required were adjusted. It is a lot smoother though.

Ok, I think I've licked this bug I've been having with the sex dialog where if Rogue was getting herself off while doing other stuff it would sometimes throw an error. There will likely be other bugs to mess with, but hopefully that one at least is now off the table. Hopefully.

For the curious, the problem started back when I first added that mechanism, do you remember how it ended up that Rogue was basically fapping at the drop of a hat, even in public? That was a bit too much, so I added in some "safety checks" to make sure that she wouldn't do this unless she was reasonably secure in her environment. The problem is that due to the way 2-3 different elements would interact, this meant that if you got her fairly horny, and she would start doing something, but then maybe she orgasmed and her lust dropped below a certain threshold, it would try to change activities but also refuse to do so, leading to the previous activity sticking around, but no new dialog being generated, and the lack of a dialog there would cause an error. So. Now that I knew what was causing it, it was simple enough to add in a catch for such circumstances, and away we go. Unless it happens again.

Eric throws a curve ball at you by accusing you in stealing his wallet. How much money he'll ask from you depends on the amount of cash you have. He doesn't count the money on your website, so you might want to hold on to them, so Eric won't take them away from you. Everything depends on your choice, I'm reminding you that you have six possible outcomes (including game over).

Now, about his influence and the game over. Here's how they work: if average influence is over 50% and at least three family members (mom, sisters, Kira) have over 50% level of Eric's influence then you'll see a first dialog where you'll have a chance to convince everyone in giving you another chance. So now you can lose if you don't keep track of this parameter. Here's how you decrease Eric's influence: close encounters with Kira, helping out Lisa with her homework, giving money to Alice and doing your chores around the house. And you can also give mom some money, that will help you too.

Some people have asked me why can't they access their sensual m..assage skill after reaching 100 points in body m..assage. The answer is: you unlock sensual m..assage in one of the opportunities, namely "cunning plan". After you decide to help Kate you'll start an interesting chain of events which will lead you to the room with naked mom, which is a spoiler, I guess. Anyway, keep looking.

Hi there! This is a lewd game featuring characters with androgynous features, some male, some female, some slime?
